CERES TAG + gateways

Use CERES TAG ear tags with gateways for a shared, scalable data-collection system. A gateway can collect data from many tags and upload it to the server and dashboard.

  • Cost-sensitive studies where five-minute tag data is sufficient
  • Projects requiring raw ear-tag accelerometer data in the dashboard
  • Herds that reliably come within gateway range
  • Multi-animal deployments where a shared gateway is more efficient

Valid option

TAURO Research Collar only

A valid option when you need a standalone device that does not rely on gateways or ear tags. The collar records high-resolution motion data to its onboard SD card and can provide optional LTE for remote monitoring.

  • High-resolution GPS requirements, including every-second (1 Hz) GPS
  • Deployments where animals cannot reliably return within gateway range
  • Tree canopy, agroforestry, silvopasture, or similar environments
  • Projects requiring detailed local motion logging
